About NAR's Insurance Marketplace
NAR has set up a private, online health insurance marketplace to provide additional options for you if you need insurance or, if you already have coverage, want to see what other affordable policies are available.
The National Association of REALTORS®' private, online health insurance marketplace is being made available through the association's REALTOR Benefits® Program and is set up to offer a broad range of plans that meet the requirements of the health care law. These plans include health maintenance organizations (HMOs), preferred provider organizations (PPOs), high deductible (catastrophic) plans, and plans that qualify for health savings accounts through nationally recognized, top-rated insurance carriers.
Real-time assistance for navigating the marketplace and getting answers to your questions is provided by representatives of SASid, the company NAR works with to provide the REALTORS® Core Health and
Dental program.
If you buy insurance through the NAR marketplace, though, you won’t be eligible for premium credits, because the law restricts the premium credits to coverage purchased through the online state marketplaces.
